The International Conference on Auditory Display is the premiere forum for research on the use of sound to display data, monitor systems, and to enhance user interfaces for computers and virtual reality systems.

The 10th International Conference on Auditory Display will be held at the Sydney Opera House and Manly Beach in Sydney Australia from July 6-9 2004. The Conference will climax on the evening of Thursday 8 July with "Listening to the Mind Listening", the World Premiere Concert of Brain Activity, at the Opera House. The concert will be ticketed to the general public by the Sydney Opera House Studio. Throughout the day leading up to the Concert there will be a special ICAD Open Day Festival where those who may not be attending the full conference can come to hear invited speakers and panels of international experts speaking on the latest issues in Auditory Display. All this, along with the usual high quality Academic Program of leading edge papers at the Manly Pacific Hotel make this an ICAD not to be missed! And we haven't even mentioned the workshops on Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge or Surfing at Manly Beach yet ...
